ADMISSION NOTIFICATION


Applications are invited for admission to Six Year Integrated Post Graduate in Pharm.D Degree Programme for the academic year 2008-2009.

IMPORTANT DATES
Issue of Application forms commences from: 09.06.2008 Last Date for issue and receipt of filled in application forms: 30.06.2008

Eligibility for Admission:
A Pass in H.Sc (10+2 level) (Academic stream) With 50% of marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) or any other equivalent qualification approved by Annamalai University. For SC/ST: A pass in the above subjects. Method of selection: Selection of candidates to the Pharm.D Programme will be made on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the qualifying examination besides an interview.

Age Limit: -
Should have completed 17 years as on 31.12. 2008

Cost of Application: Rs. 500/-

The University has been accredited by NAAC at the B++ level. The University also has International collaboration with Universities in U.S, U.K, Australia, Japan and other countries. All the departments have the state-of-art laboratories.

HOW TO APPLY:-
Application form and prospectus can be obtained from THE TEGISTRAR, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY, ANNAMALAINAGAR – 608 002 from 09.06.2008 onwards on payment of Rs. 500/- in person or by sending a Demand Draft obtained on or after 09.06.2008 drawn in favour of THE REGISTRAR, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY, ANNAMALAINAGAR from ANY BANK, PAYABLE AT CHENNAI along with a self addressed stamped thick craft envelope of size 30cm x 24 cm (stamps affixed to the value of Rs. 30/-) with the name of the programme. The Name and Address of the Candidate should be clearly indicated on the back side of the Demand Draft also.

ISSUE OF APPLICATIONS IN THE UNIVERSITY CASH COUNTER: ONLY DURING WORKING DAYS (HOLIDAYS – PUBLIC HOLIDAYS, ALL SATURDAY’S AND SUNDAYS).
